Sheena is a world-class personal trainer and nutritionist who has helped hundreds of people significantly reduce their body fat percentage and integrate healthy habits into their lives. She has worked with kids, teens and adults from age 7 to 85. Her mission is to help as many people as possible become happier and healthier. She believes that the process of becoming fit helps us evolve into a happier state.

How It Started

Fitness has always played an important role in my life. I have always excelled in academics but I was thin and lanky when I was young and probably the least athletic person in my P.E. class, As kids often do, self worth was based on the opinions of my peers. In my senior year in highschool I decided it was time to get in shape. I joined 24 hour fitness and did a group cardio class. I loved the freedom to workout without having to compare myself with other people. I became a fitness instructor because i wanted to help other people to become happier, more confident and healthier. As I progressed through my life I never let go of my fitness. I taught fitness classes at UC Davis, while working on my BS in Genetics and at Cornell University while working on my Research Fellowship. I began my career in a research position at Anergen Inc. and moved into marketing management and director level positions for various companies. I taught fitness classes for the employees at almost every company I worked for. One day after one of my spin classes, a client came to me and said, “ I have been coming to your spin class 3 days a week for 2 years and I haven’t lost a bit of weight. I think i am eating healthy and I am certainly burning calories. Can you help me ?” I designed what is now The Living Lean Program. She lost 13 lbs in 4 weeks. Another client, seeing her results asked if I could help him. He was a diabetic. In 4 weeks he lost 15 lbs and was no longer a diabetic. I have had multiple Living Lean locations since then and every time I think I should do something different I realize that there is nothing better than helping other people to live happier and healthier lives.
